My name is Tara Woods, and I am an artist based in Christchurch, New Zealand. My work for the last three years ranges from being inspired by nature of the outside world, invoking emotions and to celebrate causes I believe in and experience.
I use acrylic paint on stretched canvas to create these pieces, while creating with dry brushes and masking tape to create unique shapes and straight edges, while using colours and mixing different colours to create different shades and colours to create parts that best represent what I am envisioning
I am still new to the art community and my work has been aiming to learn and celebrate the diversity of the world and aim to start to fully emerge myself into exhibitions and art competitions.
